Firm Rules

• GENERAL RULES:
• News Trading: News trading is allowed without restrictions.
• Stop-Loss: A stop-loss must be placed within 1 minute of opening a trade; this is a soft breach if missed. The system automatically closes the trade after 1 minute if no stop loss is placed. Any profits made without using a stop loss will not count toward the profit target objective.
• Copy Trading: Copy trading is allowed as long as the City Traders Imperium account used is the master account. Allowed: CTI master account to personal account with any broker, CTI master account to other prop firms' accounts, and copying trades between multiple CTI accounts with one of the accounts being the master account. Not allowed: Copying trades from other prop firms into the CTI account, copying trades from a personal account into the CTI account, copying other traders using social trading tools, platforms, or software, using a prop firm challenge pass service to trade on your behalf, or sharing the same expert advisors with other traders. CTI has a partnership with Prop Firm One, which allows extended copy trading capabilities across different proprietary firm accounts within a single platform without breaching CTI’s core rules.
• Expert Advisors: Using a third-party expert advisor for which the trader does not own the source code is not allowed. Using trade managers and calculators is allowed. You can use any expert advisor on the 1-Step and 3-Step Challenge, even if you do not own the source code.
• Inactivity Rule: There is a 30-day inactivity period; you must place at least one trade every 30 days, and violation results in account termination.
• Overnight and Weekend Holding/Trading (Crypto): Overnight and weekend trading and holding are allowed for crypto.
• Risk Parameters: The risk department may enforce temporary measures such as leverage limits or position size restrictions. This may apply in cases such as multiple account blowouts, limited trading history, deviations from trading patterns, frequent risk violations, excessive drawdowns, or high-risk exposure in volatile markets.
• Prohibited Trading Practices: Prohibited practices include exploiting price inefficiencies or price feed errors, group hedging or hedging or group trading or not allowed copy trading, account sharing, reselling of accounts, or account management, one-sided bets, gambling to pass or over-leveraging, using extremely high risk on one trade idea, risking the entire drawdown limit in one go, risking the whole account on a single trade idea, exceeding a 150% margin level (profits from such trades will not be counted), using certain expert advisor types including third-party EAs (excluding the 1-Step Challenge), bracketing strategies, martingale trading style (excluding the 1-Step and 3-Step Challenge), and grid trading. • IP, VPN, and VPS Policies: VPNs, proxies, and IP-masking services are prohibited. A change in IP address is allowed, but CTI monitors suspicious patterns using IP, device, and behavior data. A VPS may only be used when trading with an expert advisor or for copy trading purposes. Device limitations: Trading is limited to two devices (PC and mobile). Additional device use requires approval with proof via video call. Unauthorized device use results in account termination without a refund. • Specific Country Restrictions: Vietnam is restricted for the 2-Step Challenge and Instant Funding Pro.
• 1-STEP AND 2-STEP PROGRAM RULES: For evaluations, you must have at least three profitable trading days for each phase, each with a minimum of 0.5% profit. For funding, you must have at least seven profitable trading days, each with a minimum of 0.5% profit on the first payout only.
• 3-STEP PROGRAM RULES: For evaluations, you must have at least three profitable trading days for each phase, each with a minimum of 0.5% profit. For funding, you must have at least five profitable trading days, each with a minimum of 0.5% profit on the first payout only.
• INSTANT FUNDING AND INSTANT FUNDING PRO PROGRAM RULES: You must have at least five profitable trading days, each with a minimum of 0.5% profit on the first payout only. The instant funding structure is based on levels: Level 1 has an initial balance that is half of the fully funded balance; once you achieve a 10% profit on the initial balance, CTI adds the remaining 50% to reach the fully funded balance (Level 2).

Payout Policy

• 1-STEP AND 2-STEP: The profit split ranges from 80% up to 100%. You must have at least seven profitable trading days on the first payout only. The first payout is on demand, and subsequent payouts are monthly during the last five days of each month.
• 3-STEP: The profit split ranges from 80% up to 100%. You must have at least five profitable trading days, each with a minimum of 0.5% profit on the first payout only. The first payout is on demand, and subsequent payouts are bi-weekly on the 14th or 15th and the last two days of each month.
• INSTANT FUNDING (FROM LEVEL 2): The profit split ranges from 70% up to 100%. You must have at least five profitable trading days, each with a minimum of 0.5% profit on the first payout only. The first payout is on demand, and subsequent payouts are bi-weekly on the 14th or 15th and the last two days of each month.
• INSTANT FUNDING PRO: The profit split ranges from 70% up to 100%. You must have at least five profitable trading days, each with a minimum of 0.5% profit on the first payout only. The first payout is on demand, and subsequent payouts are bi-weekly on the 14th or 15th and the last two days of each month.
• Minimum Withdrawal: The minimum withdrawal is a net profit of 2% or 100 United States dollars, whichever is higher.
• Monthly Salary: A monthly salary is available for traders who qualify for the City Traders Imperium VIP Program and reach the Elite level (Gold Trader Level).

• Scaling Plan for 1-Step and 2-Step Program: You need an overall profit of at least 10% in the last four months, profitability in at least two out of those four months, and a positive account balance at the time of scaling. The account balance increases by 50% of its original balance up to 100,000 United States dollars. From 100,000 United States dollars, there is an increase by 12.5% twice and then 25% up to 200,000 United States dollars per account, with a maximum of 400,000 United States dollars in total.
• Scaling Plan for Instant and Instant Pro Program: You need 10% net profit of the initial account balance (withdrawals do not affect this target) and a 20% consistency score. The account balance doubles until you reach 2,000,000 United States dollars per account, with a maximum of 4,000,000 United States dollars in total.
