Consistency Rules

Firm Rules

• Australian clients must use FTMO services via the affiliated VRGK entity at https://ftmo.com/au/. United States clients must use FTMO services via the affiliated entity at https://ftmo.oanda.com/. The minimum number of trading days is four days in the evaluation phase and none in the funded phase. News trading is allowed on swing accounts in both evaluation and funded phases, and on non-swing accounts in the evaluation phase; it is not allowed on non-swing funded accounts within two minutes before or after high impact news. Holding trades over the weekend and over a market rollover longer than two hours is prohibited for funded non-swing accounts, with standard market hours listed on the FTMO symbols page and changes announced in trading updates. Capital allocation is limited to 400,000 USD of simulated capital per strategy per person for FTMO Traders, 600,000 USD at Prime Status, and 1,000,000 USD at Supreme Prime Status, and accounts with identical strategies above these limits may be suspended. Accounts must not be traded by any third party. Opening significantly larger position sizes or substantially different numbers of positions compared to other trades is prohibited. FTMO recommends a risk per trade of no more than 1% to 1.5% of the initial account balance to avoid high risk behavior that may trigger monitoring, warnings, or protective restrictions. FTMO reserves discretion to classify certain trades, practices, or strategies as forbidden trading practices, including price feed exploitation, external or slow data feed trading, coordinated or manipulative trading, trading platform violations, unauthorized automation or AI trading, news and gap trading abuses, and unrealistic or harmful trading behavior, with details defined in its gambling and forbidden trading practice policies and terms and conditions. Opening multiple profile accounts is prohibited. Copy trading is allowed only if you are the sole manager of your accounts, you do not copy other traders, and you respect the 400,000 USD maximum simulated capital allocation rule. Third party expert advisors are strictly prohibited. You must open at least one trade every 30 days to avoid account termination for inactivity, or alternatively request that your account be frozen for a period between seven days and six months.

Payout Policy

• The standard profit split is 80 percent of profits paid to the trader. The payout cycle is every 14 days. The minimum withdrawal amount is 20 USD for bank wire withdrawals and 50 USD for crypto withdrawals. Under the scaling plan, to qualify you must complete a minimum of a four month cycle, achieve at least 10 percent total net simulated profit, process at least two rewards, and have a positive account balance at the time of scale up. When the scaling criteria are met, the account size increases by 25 percent with each scaling cycle, rewards are upgraded to a 90 percent profit share, and the maximum scaled account size can reach 2,000,000 USD, with continuous increases as long as requirements continue to be met. FTMO also offers a Premium Programme for qualifying traders.
