Firm Rules

• GENERAL RULES
• News Trading: News trading is allowed, but trades opened or closed (manually or automatically, including via stop loss, take profit, or pending orders) within 5 minutes before or after high-impact news can generate a maximum profit of 1% of the account’s initial balance. Any profit above this cap is removed without additional penalties. This rule applies to both the challenge and funded phases.
• Expert Advisors (EAs): You may use EAs as long as they comply with the prohibited trading practices rule. The use of third‑party EAs, high‑frequency trading (HFT) strategies or systems, and Gold Arbitrage EAs is not allowed. Using an EA or trading bot to pass the Challenge Account and then switching to manual trading in the Funded Account (or vice versa) is strictly prohibited.
• Copy Trading: All forms of copy trading are strictly prohibited. Each account must be traded individually, and traders may not duplicate trades or trading ideas, whether manually or via EA, between accounts at any stage.
• Inactivity Rule: If an account is inactive for 30 consecutive days, it is considered breached.
• Social Media & Public Conduct: Spreading false information or engaging in negative advertising about Goat Funded Trader on social media or public platforms is strictly prohibited. Violations can result in account termination, a permanent ban, and potential legal action.
• Risk Management & Trading Limits: Goat Funded Trader may impose a 1% risk limit per trade idea if excessive risk‑taking is detected. Failure to comply may result in an immediate account breach with no payouts or entitlements. Restrictions may be lifted after consistent safe trading practices. High‑risk, all‑or‑nothing strategies are strictly prohibited, including using over 80% of available margin on a single trade.
• Daily Profit Cap: For funded traders, daily profits are capped at 3,000 United States dollars (USD 3,000).
• Minimum Trade Hold Time: On funded accounts, profits from trades held for less than 2 minutes are not counted, while losses from such trades still apply.
• Prohibited Trading Practices: It is prohibited to exploit pricing or platform errors, use insider information, front‑run trades, jeopardize broker relationships, create regulatory issues, employ all‑or‑nothing trading or risky trading styles, hedge within the same or across multiple accounts, use third‑party or off‑the‑shelf EAs or strategies, switch strategies between assessment and funded stages, or duplicate trades or trade ideas across accounts. Martingale and grid recovery systems that increase lot size after losses are strictly banned.
• Overnight and Weekend Holding/Trading (Crypto): Overnight and weekend holding is allowed for crypto instruments.
• Weekend Gap Policy: Weekend holding is allowed, but trading that aims solely to exploit Monday morning market price gaps is prohibited. For funded accounts, any profits generated from trades opened in the last three hours of Friday and closed in the first three hours of Monday will be removed.
• The Goat Guard: Goat Guard is the firm’s risk management tool for funded accounts (excluding instant funding). It automatically closes all open trades if they reach a 2% loss, helping to prevent excessive drawdowns. This is treated as a “soft breach” that allows immediate continued trading with no ban. Triggering Goat Guard once reduces the profit split to 50%. Triggering it a second time fully breaches the account.
• Shared Device Usage: Traders are strictly prohibited from accessing or operating their account on any shared mobile or desktop device. If account activity is detected from a shared device, especially one linked to multiple user accounts, the trader becomes immediately disqualified from payout eligibility and may face account termination.
• Goat Blitz & Instant Blitz: These programs are available for a limited time on two weekends every month and offer traders a quick path to funding.
• 1‑Step and 2‑Step Models [Standard, GOAT & PRO] – Minimum Trading Days: In both evaluation and funded phases, traders must complete at least 3 profitable trading days with a minimum profit of 0.5% of the account balance on each of those days.
• 3‑Step Model – Minimum Trading Days: The evaluation phase has no minimum trading day requirement. In the funded phase, traders must complete at least 3 profitable trading days with a minimum profit of 0.5% of the account balance on each of those days.
• Instant Funding Models [GOAT & PRO] – Minimum Trading Days: Traders must complete 5 profitable trading days with a minimum profit of 0.5% of the account balance on each of those days.
• Max Loss Per Trade Rule: An account is permanently closed if floating losses reach negative 2% of the balance at any time.
• Drawdown Reset: The maximum loss limit resets after each payout.

Payout Policy

• Payout Limits: For all programs, the first two payouts are limited to 6% of the initial account balance or 10,000 United States dollars (USD 10,000), whichever is reached first. After these two payouts, there are no payout limits.
• Instant Funding Models [Goat & Pro]: Payouts are processed on a bi‑weekly schedule, with the first payout available on demand when the appropriate add‑on is purchased on the Instant Pro program. The standard profit split is 80%, which can increase to 100% when the relevant add‑on is applied.
• 1‑Step, 2‑Step [Goat, Standard & Pro] and 3‑Step Models: Payouts are bi‑weekly, with the first payout available on demand when the appropriate add‑on is purchased. The standard profit split is 80%, which can increase to 100% with the add‑on.
• First Reward on Demand with Add‑on: For the first reward on demand using an add‑on, traders must still meet the minimum profitable trading days requirement and achieve at least 3% profit. For this first reward, a temporary profit split of 40% is applied. Afterward, traders become eligible for subsequent rewards every 14 days at the normal 80% profit split.
• Payout Channels and Limits: For payouts via Rise there is no maximum withdrawal limit. For crypto payouts, the maximum is 3,000 United States dollars (USD 3,000) per payout. For Skrill payouts, the maximum is 5,000 United States dollars (USD 5,000) per payout.
• Minimum Payout: The minimum payout amount is 100 United States dollars (USD 100).
• Scaling Plan – Challenge Accounts: Level 1 provides 15% additional capital and a 90% profit split after 2 months and 4 payouts, with daily loss limit (DLL) and maximum loss limit (MLL) each increased by 1%. Level 2 provides 30% additional capital, a 90% profit split, weekly payouts after 4 months and 6 payouts, and DLL and MLL each increased by 2%. Level 3 provides 40% additional capital, a 92% profit split, a monthly salary between 300 and 500 United States dollars, weekly payouts, a free challenge after 5 months and 10 payouts, and DLL and MLL each increased by 3%. Level 4 (GOAT Trader) provides 50% additional capital, a 95% profit split, a monthly salary between 300 and 500 United States dollars, a free challenge after 6 months and 15 payouts, and DLL and MLL each increased by 4%. Scaling is always based on the original account size, even if accounts are merged.
• Scaling Plan – Instant Funding: Traders can double their account size each time they reach a 10% profit target, up to a maximum of three scaling steps. When the target is hit, they may keep trading, withdraw profits, or request scaling. In the scaling option, the trader receives 50% of the profits and a new account with double the initial balance.
